The above article, written by an unknown author, satirizes the recent California Supreme Court ruling allowing same-sex marriage.  The Catholic Church position stresses the traditional family, “founded on matrimony between a man and a woman, to be the natural cradle of human life.”

God continues to show us His love every day. He even allow us to see Him but we fail to see because we simply don’t care. We don’t have to see Him in pictures like this just to believe He is real but I know this helps us strengthen our faith.

If we allow Jesus to let us see Him we could. We just need to have faith and have a constant communication with him.

I hope the picture helped you to feel blessed like what it did to me. I don’t care if it is photoshopped which I don’t think it is anyway because it is taken in the old ages.

In Bankok, Thailand there are seperate bathrooms for teen boys who prefer to dress as girls at one rural high school.   No more tough decisions about which toilet to take to or having to go to the teachers lounge.

The Kampang School in northeastern Thailand conducted a survey last term that showed more than 200 of the school’s 2,600 students considered themselves transgender, said school director Sitisak Sumontha.  So, when classes resumed in May, the school unveiled a unisex restroom designated by a human figure split in half – part man in blue and part woman in red. Below it are the words “Transvestite Toilet.”

Three transgender students praised the new restroom as they plucked their eyebrows and applied face powder in front of the mirror outside the stalls.   Most rural Thais are conservative in many ways, but the trailblazing toilet initiative at the school in northeastern Sisaket province reflects another aspect of Thai society: its tolerance of the country’s very visible transgender community. The term describes a wide range of identities including cross-dressers, transvestites, transsexuals and those born with the physical characteristics of both sexes.

Kampang is not Thailand’s first educational institution to set up unisex washrooms, though Sitisak said he believed it was a first for a secondary school. A 1,500-student technical college in the northern province of Chiang Mai set up a “Pink Lotus Bathroom” for its 15 transvestite students in 2003.  Deputy Education Minister Boonlue Prasertsopar recently said the ministry plans to count the number of transgender university students.

He said he was not promoting transgender interests, “but if there are a lot of them in a university and it’s a problem, we may have to consider building toilets and dormitories for them.”  Transgenders are regularly seen on TV soap operas and throughout Bangkok, working at department store cosmetics counters, popular restaurants, in office jobs and in the capital’s red-light districts. Thailand also has transgender beauty pageants. I think a lot of those saying they consider themselves transgender are just doing it to be supportive.

Cristeta Comerford was born as Cristeta Pasia in The Philippines and grew up in the Sampaloc, Manila. She attended Manila Science High School for her secondary education. She attended the University of the Philippines, Diliman in Quezon City and majored in food technology. However, she did not earn her degree because she had left school to immigrate to the United States. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 23. Her first job was at the Sheraton Hotel near O’Hare International Airport. She also worked at the Hyatt Regency hotel.

After Chicago, she moved to Washington, D.C., and worked as a chef at two restaurants. She additionally spent six months in Vienna as a rotating chef.

Comerford was recruited by executive chef Walter Scheib III in 1995 to work in the Clinton White House. Scheib resigned as executive chef in February 2005. Comerford was appointed by First Lady Laura Bush on August 14, 2005. She is the first female executive chef and the first Filipina to hold this position.

She reportedly was appointed to this position due to her handling of a large dinner that was held in honor of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh

The statment of Bush in a way insulted me because I know there are a lot of Filipinos who had already proven our people’s worth. But in the contrary, I think I shouldn’t feel that bad. The work of a chef needs a lot of hardwork, talent, skills, knowledge, patience and a formal education. Camerford studied her craft and there is no way she could be hired just by tasting the food.

A class suit has been filed against publishers and editors of lewd magazines in the Philippines for alleged violation of a city ordinance which prohibits the printing, publication, sale, distribution and exhibition of obscene and pornographic acts and materials.

The criminal complaint was filed by Manila congressman Bienvenido Abante and a group of pastors and preachers from different churches in Manila. They said the publication of Playboy Philippines, Maxim, and FHM violated Ordinance No. 7780 of the City of Manila.

The complaint stated that sometime in September 2007 to July 2008, “the said magazines and tabloids printed, published, distributed, circulated and sold in the City of Manila contain pornographic, obscene, erotic, indecent, or lewd pictures or poses that show, depict, exhibit, or describe nude or semi-nude bodies, sexual acts, sexual intercourse, private parts of the human body of both male and female, with no educational, artistic, cultural or scientific value, but clearly and purely intended or calculated to draw lust, stimulate sexual drive, excite impure imagination or arouse prurient interest.

Named respondents were:

• Lance Gokongwei and Lisa Gokongwei Cheng, chairman of the board and president of Summit Publishing, publisher of FHM Philippines;
• Eugenio Lopez III and Ernesto Lopez, chairman of the board and president, respectively of ABS-CBN Publishing Inc., publisher of Maxim.
• Ramon Faustino, editor-in-chief; Vince Sales, managing editor; and Clarisa Palomo, circulation manager (Playboy Philippines);
• Allan Madrilejos, editor-in-chief; Allan Hernandez, managing editor; and Glenda Gil, circulation manager (FHM Philippines);
• Pierre Inaki Calasanz, editor-in-chief; Beting Dolor, managing editor; Thelma Sioson San Juan, general manager; and Rina Lareza, head of circulation (Maxim Philippines);
• Zak Zorro Zamora, editor-in-chief; Dexter Manila, managing editor; Deo Alvarez, general manager;Norie Villanueva, circulation manager (Playhouse Men’s Magazine).

The complaint also included editors of some tabloids which contain nudity and sexual content. They were identified as Editha Asumbrado, editor-in-chief; Lyn Panus, president; and Mae Mai Gener, vice president, all of Sagad; Gloria Galuno, managing editor; and Edwin Alcala, circulation manager, both of Hataw; and Joe Dalde, editor-in-chief of Toro.

The above picture is Lakshmi Tatma who was born joined with a parasitic twin.

The headless twin is joined with her at the pelvis and has its own spinal column and kidney.

Her mother Poonam Tatma believed that her daughter is a miracle and a reincarnation of Vishnu.

But the good thing is that her parents considered to finally submit their daughter to undergo a 40-hour operation to remove half of her limbs. Without the operation the girl could never walk and might not live past her early teens.

Another story about the reincarnation of the Hindu Goddess is this baby who is born in India with a congenital disorder called craniofacial duplication (diprosopus), in which part of the face is duplicated on the head.

The sad thing about this story is that the family refused to seek for special medical treatment, believing she is the incarnation of a Hindu goddess. In fact, hundreds of people have flocked to the family’s dilapidated brick house to “worship” her and seek blessings.

Reports said she ate with both mouths and blinked all four eyes.

1. Rambutan
Native to Malay Archipelago, Southeast Asia
Coming from an evergreen tree, the Rambutan fruit resembles the Lychees, have a leathery red skin and are covered with spines. Rambutan is a popular garden fruit tree and one of the most famous in Southeast Asia. The fruit is sweet and juicy, being commonly found in jams or available canned.

2. Jackfruit
Native to southwestern India, Bangladesh, Philippines and Sri Lanka
Jackfruit is a common fruit for Asia and Australia and considered as one of the largest tree borne fruit in the world. The juicy pulp around the seeds have a taste similar to pineapple, but milder. Apart from canned jackfruit, it is also available as sweet chips. The wood of the tree is used for making various musical instruments, while the fruit is a common ingredient for many Asian dishes.

Native to South America, grown in India, New Zealand, Brazil, etc
The passion fruit has a soft, juicy interior full of seeds, being commonly found in juices to boost their flavors. There are two types of passion fruit: the golden one (maracuyá), similar to a grapefruit and the dark purple passion fruit (gulupa), comparable in terms of size with a lemon. However, the latter ones have been reported as being mildly poisonous.

4. Lychee
Native to southern China, found in India, Taiwan
Coming from an evergreen tree, the lychee or litchi are small white flesh fruits, covered in a red rind, rich in vitamin C and with a grape-like texture. The fruit has started making its appearance in markets worldwide, refrigerated or canned with its taste intact.

5. Star fruit
Native to Indonesia, India and Sri Lanka
The star fruit comes from the carambola, a species of tree with pink flowers grown even in the US. The golden-yellow fruit is crunchy, sweet, with a taste of pineapples, apples and kiwis combined. There are two kinds of star fruits – acidulate and sweet, both rich in vitamin C. The fruit is particularly juice, some even making wine out of it.

6. Mangosteen
Native to the Sunda Islands and the Moluccas.
The mangosteen is another evergreen tree that produces oddly shaped fruits. The fruits are purple, creamy, described as citrus with a hint of peach. It is rich in antioxidants, some scientists even suggesting it can lower risk against certain human diseases, such as cancer. There are even legends about Queen Victoria offering a reward to the one that brings her the fruit.

7. Kumquat
Native to China
The kumquats or cumquats are small edible fruits resembling oranges that grow in a tree related to the Citrus. As with most of the fruits in the Citrus family, the kumquats are eaten raw. They are often used in marmalade and jelly but also in alcoholic drinks such as liquor. The Taiwanese add it to their teas, while others boil it and use it as a remedy for sore throats.

8. Durian
Native to Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia
Also known as the “King of Fruits,” Durian has a very particular odor, a unique taste and is covered by a hard husk. Having a disagreeable smell, compared to skunk spray or sewage, the fruit is forbidden in hotels and public transportations in Southeast Asia. Still, the whole experience is worth it, considering the absolutely divine taste of the Durian.

9. Dragon Fruit
Native to Mexico and Central and South America
Dragon fruit, strawberry pear or pitaya is a fruit of several cactus species with a sweet delicate taste and creamy pulp. The most common dragon fruit is the red pitaya, but other varieties include the Costa Rica pataya and the yellow pataya. Juice or wine can be obtained from the fruit, while the flowers can be eaten or used for tea.

10. African cucumber
Native to Kalahari Desert, Africa
The African cucumber, horned melon or melano is a fruit that can be best described as melon with horns. It originated in the Kalahari Desert and is now present in California and New Zealand. The dark green pulp reminds one of bananas, limes, passion fruit and cucumber. It is often used for decorating food but also in smoothies and sundaes.

Spam uses Angelina Jolie’s name and fame to spread malware

 BitDefender researchers are reporting that new spam messages are using fake events ostensibly involving actor Angelina Jolie and claiming the MSN Featured Offers program. Users that fall for them will be tricked into infecting their PCs with Trojan.Agent.AGGZ. The e-mail typically attempts to lure users into downloading a binary file entitled video-nude-anjelina.avi.exe. As usual, the spam message itself is written using poor grammar and uses multiple obfuscations to trick spam filters.

“The spam wave is part of a larger category of unsolicited mail messages that rely on social engineering techniques in order to lure unwary users into installing Trojans,” said Vlad Valceanu, Head Of Antispam Research. Pictures of international celebrities, coupled with catchy fake news leads seem to be a perfect recipe for spreading malware via ignorant users. This point is supported by a recent spam report that noted that spam is being mailed out in “smaller, more targeted batches, and spammers are using varying approaches like leveraging celebrity names and current events to grab attention.”

Jolie’s fame has been used previously to infect computers by taking advantage of users who believed the actress gave birth to no less than five children (she recently gave birth to twins). Users that clicked on a link that was supposed to show a small video with the event wound up with a very different show. An image impersonating a flash video player would appear, but the site included a drive-by download that infected users’ computers with Trojan.Downloader.Exchanger.Gen.1. The site was designed to use the Windows Vista look-and-feel (the Aero wallpaper and icon buttons) in order to gain users’ confidence.

I love High School Musical especially their cast but except for Vanessa Hudgens. I hate her voice, her acting and I hate her more because of the nude pictures. She’s acting like she is sweet and innocent but no she’s not. I am excited to watch this but well…I don’t know about watching Hudgens there.
